Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?

Sasha first came out to be transgender in high school. Sasha's family supported him through the rough times and she knew that she was capable of doing anything with music. Jim and Sasha are both song writers, and have been formally forming a duo, and they have performed in open mics as well as different venues around the city. While The Voice coaches did not discuss Sasha's backstory, he and Jim discussed their journey to where they are today through a short introduction clip that was played before their performance. They talked about their favorite songs and the first guitar that Sasha owned. His father was a music instructor made it easier for Sasha to learn the craft. Sasha is a female-born child, had a difficult in establishing his own identity. In an Instagram post she spoke about the struggles he's had. Jim however, was overwhelmed with emotions as revealed his inability to be present during the difficult moments. Sasha Allen's birth was as a woman. Sasha Allen will be 19 to be 19 in 2021. Sasha was first exposed to transgender people during the first year of high school and started transitioning from female to male. "I'm the third trans person to appear on the show and I'm so excited to represent our trans people on huge a platform." Sasha wrote on Instagram.
